Ship's Doctor's personal log, 1791 AS, Chur'dar 9.

Only one day after launch an explosive device was detonated in the ship's armory, killing the Discovery's first officer, Commander Cayne. This murderous act of sabotage is believed to be the work of Terra Prime, the xenophobic Terran organization that the Discovery is charged with investigating. If the saboteur is still on board, virtually anybody on the ship aside of myself is a suspect. I am completely alone on a ship that has a fanatic willing to risk if not kill, members of his or her own species in order to prevent contamination of his or her culture by an extraterrestrial such as myself. The probability that I will become a target is high.

Addendum: We have made contact with an Andorian ship that has transferred one of its officers aboard to investigate the explosion. This officer is the only other person aboard who is completely above suspicion and is my most likely ally. It would be unfortunate if the animosity between our peoples alienates us, for he is the only one aboard I can really trust. I must make contact with him and assist him in identifying the saboteur as soon as possible.
