Shutting the sim down

Hey everyone

So I've been emailing those on the crew who haven't responded directly to the thread about the future of the sim, and with the number of people that have committed to definitely wanting to continue with the sim, it would mean a lot of time and work to get the sim back off the ground again. With my other sims and with my position in the fleet, I just don't think I have the extra time that would be needed to drive the reinvigoration of Discovery.

So with that in mind, I'm shutting the sim down as of today. I won't be starting up a replacement for it either as was one of the options I put forward in our discussion (at least not until I've got enough extra free time to be able to put the needed work into that).

If any of you would rather see Discovery continue on and would like to take over command of the sim, let me know in the next week or so and we can see what we can work out - I'm more than happy to hand over the keys if someone would want to put in the work to do that. If not, then hopefully Discovery will return in some other form at some point in the future.
