NX-Era Timeline

• 2103: Humans establish the first colonies on Mars.
• 2119:Zefram Cochrane, aged 87, disappears from his home on Alpha Centauri.
• 2130:Earth's first planetary government, United Earth, is created with the signing of the Traité d'Unification in Paris.
• 2151:The Enterprise (NX-01), Earth's first warp 5-capable starship, is launched under the command of Captain Jonathan Archer.
  • In the early months of its mission, Enterprise establishes contact with the Klingon Empire, the Axanarri, the Fazi, the Andorians and the Coridanites.
• 2152: As Enterprise continues its mission, it establishes contact with the Romulan Star Empire and the Tholian Assembly.
• 2153: The Xindii launch a probe to attack Earth, leaving millions dead. Enterprise is ordered into the Expanse to locate and destroy their far more powerful superweapon, designed to destroy Earth entirely.
• 2154: Columbia (NX-02) is launched from drydock in November of this year, after suffering engine trouble.
• 2155: Initial talks for the formation of the Coalition of Planets take place on Earth in January, despite attempts at derailing the talks by an anti-alien group called Terra Prime.
  • Challenger (NX-03) is launched in January of this year, with Discovery (NX-04) following four months later.
