| Pre-Starfleet | Micheal was the first to be born in the Hamilton Family. He was an energetic child who always liked to play and get into trouble due to his pranks. When he was four years old his little sister Emily was born and even though he was four years older than her they would develop a close brother and sister relationship. Micheal like any other child went off to school and was fascinated from an early age with science, especially biology. His teachers would often say that he would be a scientist one day and that his future was bright. However in the last year if Primary School he gained a rival, a young Vulcan girl who was living with at the Vulcan Compound. The Vulcan girl called T'Mar was also godo at science and often showed him up. All through high school Micheal still had a rival yet friendly relationship with T'Mar as they were friends but often competed against each other. The other children didn't like them very much as they were often known to get into arguments about grades and tests. However in the last year of High School Micheal told T'Mar that he was attracted to her and she said the same, but being only 16 they had yet to discover anything. The relationship between Micheal and T'mar only lasted three weeks as T'Mar left Earth with her parents, also her parents didn't approve of it. Micheal went on and applied to College. He wanted to do science however didn't get onto the course so he settled for medical sciences. Between the ages of 16 and 18 he studied basic medical science and started to enjoy it. At age 18 he applied to University to study medicine and go into a doctor's degree. He was accepted and this is where he met a girl called Bethany, on a night out when he was drunk. He often would bump into Beth around the campus and eventually after two months he kissed her on a night out around town. However she didn't force him off but kissed him back. After that night (As she somehow made it back to his room with him and neither remember this) they started a romantic relationship. Micheal and Bethany graduated University at the age of 22 after four hard years studying to become doctors. Bethany wanted to go to the stars with Micheal and together they decided that they should join Starfleet and see if they would go together on a ship into space. |

| Starfleet Career | In 2145 they were accepted into Starfleet as Ensigns in the medical field due to their degrees. They were positioned at Starfleet Medical on Earth as doctors and the couple moved to San Francisco together. They worked on different wards, however still remained close enough to cross paths. Their co-workers knew them as the "couple from wards 8 and 9". They stayed working together for two years at Starfleet Medical. After that they were both assigned to the Intrepid one of Starfleet's newer Starship designs. They packed their bags and leaving their small house behind headed off together to see the stars. It was in 2148 whilst on shore leave that Micheal popped the question to Bethany and asked her to marry him. By 2149 the couple were married and their wedding was aboard the Intrepid, conducted by the Captain. They were one of the first couples to be married aboard a Starfleet ship and thus became well known across the ship and small fleet at the time. Micheal and bethany were promoted to Lieutenant in 2150 for serving five years in their respective fields. Three weeks after that Bethany shared the news to Micheal that she was pregnant and they were going to have a baby. They kept is a secret for a while but then it started to become obvious. Bethany knew that it would probably mean the end of her Starfleet career. However the Captain of the Intrepid said that she could work back on Earth to care for the child. Micheal offered to move back with Bethany, however she wouldn't let him. In September of 2151 Bethany gave birth to their daughter, Kelsey Hamilton. Bethany returned to Earth and Micheal went with her to ensure the baby was safe and settled. He loved being a father to his little girl, and took a year leave of absence so that he could care for Bethany and Kelsey. Back on Earth he ran into T'Mar again who offered to help with Kelsey so that he could have some time with Bethany. T'Mar became the babysitter for Kelsey and was always reliable and soon instead of a rival became a friend of the family. In 2133 Micheal went off to serve as Chief Medical officer back aboard the Intrepid. He would call home everyday on subspace to talk with Bethany and Kelsey. He had to watch his little girl grow up over subspace and often got pictures and video's so that he could get to know her. However he didn't realize that he was getting lonely by the day. In 2155 he transfered back to Earth for a month in which he spent as much time with his family as he could. He then got asked if he wanted to go aboard as chief medical officer on the Discovery. He didn't want to leave, but Bethany said it was fine and Kelsey and her were safer on Earth. So he left them behind and headed for the Discovery. |

| Family | Bethany: Micheal has always had a close relationship with his Bethany. He married her on the Intrepid and had a daughter with her. He often refers to her as the "most beautiful woman in the universe" and call her every day. He can sit and talk to her for hours, especially since they are both doctors. Kelsey: Kelsey is Micheal's little girl and he loves to spend what time he can with her. He has watched her grow up from space. However he has remained her father and likes to ensure whats is best with her. |

| Friendships | T'Mar: Micheal has always had a rival relationship with T'Mar since childhood, however since the birth of Kelsey they have developed a friend relationship. He often talks to her when he has a problem with either Kelsey or Beth, but he also liked to just chat about their different cultures and work out problems. |
| Physical Description | Micheal is tall and has a medium build. He keeps his hair medium length and likes to keep his appearance tidy and neat. He always prefers to keep himself clean and shaven as he doesn't think that stubble or facial hair is acceptable for a doctor to have. | |
| General Personality | Micheal is a kind man, he is also very caring. However he can sometimes be strict sometimes. He has a good bedside manner and is compassinate to his patients as well as assuring and comforting. He has been told that he would make a good counselor he strives to stay in the field of medicine. When he is off duty he is a fun loving guy who likes to have a laugh and relax. He has a good sense of humour and tried to get on with everyone he doesn't try and make enemies but tries to make friends. |

| Strengths & Weaknesses | Micheal's main strengths are that of medicine knowledge. He also has a good bedside manner and his patients like him, he has been known to keep in contact with patients after their recovery as friends. He has a strength in quick thinking and for some reason he is also good at controlling children and young adults, especially under stressful situations. His main weakness is that he hates to lose a patient and has been known to get angry or upset over it. Another weakness is that even when there is no hope of a cure he will still work at it and sometimes overwork himself. |

| Ambitions | Micheal's main ambitions is to be a good doctor and a good member of the crew to his ship. He also wants to see whats out there and thats why he joined Starfleet, however he also wants to ensure that he does his job correctly and save lives. | |
| Hobbies & Interests | Micheal's main hobbies include writing stories and researching medical items. He is often inventing new medical instruments or cures and likes to do the research aswell as the actual building of medical prototypes. He also has an interest in child development as he likes to study how children grow up and develop into intellectual beings. He finds this facinating how something some small can develop so quickly and he often studies this in his own time in order to become a better doctor as well as broaden his understanding of the human body. |
