Welcome everyone, to the re-launched website and forums of the Starship Discovery! As you may have guessed from the use of the term 're-launched', this site was previously run as a sim back in 2013, and as such you may see a few things about the site dating from the sim's original run. Wherever possible though, I have archived those portions of the sites, and updated or re-posted items that are relevant to the sim's new lease of life. The sim is a Play by Forum independent NX-era simulation. If you have any questions as to how the game is run in regards to it being a PbF (rather than the far more common Play by Nova) sim, then feel free to ask. By and large though, you should be able to get the feel for it by visiting our 'In Character' section. If you've not joined up yet, then please feel free to peruse the site, and if you see a spot that interests you, head on over to our join form and fill out an application. If you have joined - welcome! Make sure to create your forum account as soon as you can if you haven't already. For those with forum accounts; I strongly recommend that you 'subscribe' to all of the forums on the site - this will ensure that you get an email notification when a new post has been made, and help keep you up-to-date with the sim. |
